Think.Feel.Act – A Festival of the Future for Planetary Justice

From 30 June to 5 July 2025, the festival “Thinking.Feeling.Acting – A Future Festival for Planetary Justice” will take place in Bielefeld. The festival is organized by AG 10 “Migration Pedagogy and Anti-Racist Critique” at the Faculty of Educational Science at Bielefeld University and Welthaus Bielefeld e.V. In cooperation with many other contributors, the diverse programme is being developed and shaped through a participatory process.

The festival will serve as a place of learning and encounter for people from academia, politics, activism, education, civil society, and the wider public, and will take place across the entire city. All events are free of charge.

We live in times of multiple crises, such as the climate catastrophe, growing social inequality, and the normalization of politics hostile to human beings. The DFH Festival brings people together in conversation and makes exchange possible about their experiences and possibly also their different political positions.

At the heart of thinking about planetary justice is the question of what possibilities exist and can be shaped to enable more peaceful coexistence among humans and across species. How can we shape a social reality that is associated with less suffering, indifference, and destruction?

Anyone interested in the conditions that make our planet habitable, and who would like to explore this topic in an inspiring setting, is in exactly the right place at the DFH Festival. Let’s make a joint statement — we look forward to it!
